Kangi,
This is a very sad story, but too often true .... it seems when we are most vulnerable that these things happen to us -- a lesson to help us toughen up ??

I am only concerned why it was you lost everything -- house, car, savings -- and he is still OK, living in his own home, driving his car ?? Surely this must say something about the kind of advice he was giving ??

.... and then again, as they say "life never closes a door without opening a window" ....

peace to you, friend,
sunny
