I am truly sorry that things did not work out for you.
I know you must both be disappointed. It's hard when your heart and pride are hurt.

I have enjoyed reading the messages that both of you posted on indianz. I am hoping that you will allow us to enjoy both of you and not ask or expect people to take sides.

Sinatihawk, you're a smart and perceptive lady and I have learned a lot from how you see things.

OlHump, you were very kind to that lost Cherokee Princess, it was good to see.

Since I like you both, and would like to be able to read both of your posts here, and feel free to respond to whoever I wish, I am going to ask....

Please don't throw rocks at each other while responding to other people's posts.

I'm not saying this to one of you, I am saying it to both.

You remind me of my parents. They would not let us love them both, we had to choose which one we sided with. It felt bad.

I know that you are both upset and that it is natural to be frustrated and hurt and angry and to want the other person to feel what you feel.

But what you are both doing feels bad to me. I want to look at your posts and see what you have to say about different things here because I like you both, but then the post turns into a trap where you are sniping at each other. Imagine how it feels to those who are reading the post, to see you both suddenly turn dark inside. I feel bad for you, and I also feel upset at having to see the arguing. Had enough of that around me to last forever.

And both of you think the other has started it. But you are both participating.

Last thing I will say on it: I'm not happy to make this post. I figure what will happen is you will both be mad at me. I hope you can patch things up. You were a nice pair. If not, then I hope that you will each have the self-respect to admit that the reason you chose the other person is that there were good things about them. Even if you decided that the bad outweighed the good, please honor the choice that you made and own up to it without trying to paint the other person the bitter one.

Okay, I'm done -- go ahead and both hate me -- at least it will give you a new focus for all that brooding and boiling anger. And me, I'll get to be a martyr. Whoooo-eeee. What could be better than that, hey?
