To you women here, over 40!

Need some experience from my "older" women friends! With out freakin the boys out here too much, will try to make this as gentile (SP?) as possible.

I think I am slowly approaching that time in my life of "crone-ness" if you follow my drift here...

Besides all the typical stuff you hear about like hot flashes,(boy do I have those!!!) etc., did you find yourselves being less tolerant of people, things, situations? Opinions seem to come flying out of my mouth like daggers!! I dont seem to have the patience and tolerance I used to have. When I see, hear, feel someone doing something wrong... and not just to ME but it could be to ANYONE... I am right there ready to do battle!!

I was never like that before... I have always been a person to listen, give the situation some time to soak in, then figure out what is the best way to handle it. Well... for the most part... (wink)

Is this typical, or am I just becoming a mean old lady with a head full of gray hairs popping in more and more each day??

People have always referred to me as "such a nice girl", almost to the extent of being a doormat, ya know, the person that never says no to anything anyone needed. Not any more!! I almost feel possessed!!!
