In the mid 80s, when IBM used the Tramp for the launch of the original PC, I read an article that mentioned that the rights to use the Tramp image were secured from Bubbles Inc. that was said to be a Chaplin family owned society that managed the use of the Chaplin's name and image. Perhaps it doesn't exist anymore or it franchises other societies to put items on the market. My most recent items date back to 1992 and bear the Bubble name.
