Subject: no real data, but same S54 motor
In reply to: Roger Everitt 's message, "M Coupe engine failure" on 10:06:21 01/11/03 Sat

so, this issue should have some bearing (pun intended) on M Coupe owners with the S54 engine. They should get the extended warranty, if it's offered to M3 owners with the same motor. I don't know if any M Coupes have motors produced in the highest-risk period of 10/2001 through 1/2002, but should any have such a motor, they oughta be concerned.
