I'm not, he is a class, class player, but so is Bell and his form so far this season has been considerably better. If Peitersen was in either Bell or Thorpe would have to be dropped. Bell, in my opinion is the fractional better test match prospect and in regard to Thorpe its just a call of whether England want his experience and grit throughout the Ashes.
Come the winter both Bell and Pietersen should be playing and Thorpe should have retired or be moved on.
