Subject: Problem fixxing Laptop screen

Dear Sirs
Could please help fixing my Laptop Screen.
The fault is that the screen is not bright all, I can only see my desktop at the background and the brightness adjustment is full, but when I connect the laptop to an external CRT monitor it comes all right.
Could you please advise me on what to do?
