Subject: Toshiba Satellite 1695CDT hard drive removal--how to do this?

I have a Toshiba Satellite 1695CDT. I have a new (and larger capacity) hard drive that I want to put in. My problem is that trying to get to the old hard drive is like trying to breaking into Fort Knox. Does anyone know the process for opening this blasted thing? It looks like I might have to take off the monitor to get to some screws which were absurdly placed right below it. Clearly Toshiba designed this thing to keep the average person from doing this. BTW, I checked the manual and called the Toshiba support desk--neither one was any help, and the nearest qualified Toshiba support dealer is over 100 miles away. If anyone can lend some helpful insights (preferable a step-by-step solution), I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance. --Scott
