hello scott,
first of all you need to flip the computer upside down and look at the bottom. there are three screw holes with a K next to them. they are the keyboard screw holes take them out. now turn it back upright and open the screen. when you open it flip it all the way back so that it lays against whatever surface your on. you can now see that the strip of plastic under the screen is snapped in place. look on the sides adn you can lift this plastic strip up. once it is lifted you have to remove 4 screws for the keyboard. remove those 4 screws adn the keyboard will lift right out. once you do this all you have to do is remove the 2 screws holding the harddrive in and you can easily pull it out, put the casing on the new harddrive and reinstall it. good luck scott.
