Subject: Toshiba Satellite 3000-x4

Hi,

I've got a Toshiba Satellite 3000-x4 laptop, which I've had for about a year. Over the first 10 months or so, it was suddenly cutting out a few times, and I mean cutting out as opposed to crashing, shutting down etc. It usually happened when I had used it for maybe eight hours or so to watch dvds or play games, so i thought maybe it's just overheating. In the last month, though, it's cut out about four times, and when I was wordprocessing, or using it in other non-intense ways. It definitely shouldn't have been overheating or anything in those cases, so I'm now getting concerned, as it's also increased in frequency. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot!

Georgia
