toshiba is notorous for using non-laptop cpu chips cause they're cheaper, but HOTTER.. the problem is the in some models the fan doesn't adjust with the increase of heat. That can be fixed by down loading a patch from Toshiba. Do a search on toshiba overheating and follow the thread... I install a patch for satellite 1805-207s and its much better.
