**Lettuceleaf Horatio the hare, Korral Lethin the otter, and Jim the Gerbil, your three favorite characters *coughnotcough*, are driving down the streets of modern-day Mossflower (what, you didn’t expect it to stay medieval forever, did you?), intent on getting themselves a good helping of hamburgers at The Burger Abbot.**
Lettuceleaf Horatio: I’m hungry! What’s taking so long?
Korral Lethin: That accident down at I-42 held us up. Honestly, how does a SmartCar end up flipped upside down on top of a semi-truck?
Jim: Eh heh heh… accident… riiiiight.
*FLASHBACK!*
Jim: (Now in a SmartCar) Ooh, I’m going green and saving on gas! Gah! But I’m wasting gas and time! That stupid semi-truck is going so slow, I’m hardly moving! If only there was a way to…. Wait… yeeeeessssss….. **produces net, harpoon, car jack, trampoline, hula hoop, sunglasses, laptop computer, and water wings.**
*END FLASHBACK!*
Jim: Hrmph… yes, accident… indeed…
Lettuceleaf: Anyhow, as I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted by that… uh… flashback? Yeah, flashback. As I was saying… I’M HUNGRY!
Korral: Well, we’re almost there. Yup, here it is, the Burger Abb… WHAT THE?
Lettuceleaf: *Produces script.* Eh… is that his line?
Jim: sharrup, bunny boy?
Lettuceleaf: hare, actua—
Jim: sharrup again! Look at that!
Lettuceleaf: What, is there foo… holy Martin’s cheese!
**In the space where the Burger Abbot used to exist, now there is a gigantic neon-covered building with a huge sign reading ‘Timeburger: Fast Food of a thousand generations’**
Korral: Mysterious.
Jim: Odd.
Lettuceleaf: Wonder if they have Whoppers.
Jim: Eh… maybe we should just get Chinese…
Korral: **Smacks Jim upside the head.** Are you kidding? This place has to be good to afford all that neon! Besides, I’ve eaten rice for the past five days!
Lettuceleaf: *nods* When there’s not a feast going on, Redwall’s cafeteria ain’t all it’s cracked up to be.
Jim: Fine, let’s check it out. **Rubs head.**
**And so, our three heroes… that is, protagonists… erm, friends… characters introduced so far… go into the drive through of Timeburger. Little do they know that this will result in their greatest venture of all--**
Lettuceleaf: NO! NO CLICHES IN THIS PARODY! I’M SO FREAKIN’ TIRED OF CLIFFHANGERS! I mean, have you /read/ Inkspell? I’m already on the edge of my seat!
**Oh… sorry. Anyhow, yeah. Just… read the parody, I guess.**
Lettuceleaf: That’s better.
**They pull up to the drive-thru window.**
Braceface Employee: Welcome to, like, Timeburger, and whatever. Whatya want, and stuff?
Korral: Oh, great. Don’t you guys have anyone older than seventeen working for you?
Braceface: Like, Phyllis, dude. She’s, like, totally sixty-three. She was, like, homeless or something before she , totally, like, got the job. Whatever that means.
Jim: 0.0 I vote Braceface.
Lettuceleaf: Agreed.
Korral: Anyhow, we’d like two Whoppers, a double cheeseburger, a thingie of fries… ah, one of those whatchamacallit chocolate ones with the cherry…
Braceface: Well, you’re about to get more than you ordered for *snigger*, because you’ve pulled up to TIMEBURGER!
Korral: Umm… yeah. I saw.
Lettuceleaf: Think you could tone down the neon? I’ve been blind for the past ten minutes.
Braceface: This is no ordinary fast food place. It can transport you, through the drive thru, into any dimension at any point in time EVER. Pretty sweet, like, right, dudes.
All those present in the car: **Ogle**
Lettuceleaf: But… we can still order food, too, right?
WHERE WILL OUR HEROES BE TRANSPORTED?
