Subject: SOAP LAKE'S CANNA ST. CORRAL

Ever wonder why the CROWD CORRAL always gets setup on Canna St? Is anyone making the attempt to direct foot traffic right to their door? Of course. And how about the rest of what is left of open doors, the remaining business establishments in Soap Lake? This act of discrimination has long gone on, not unnoticed. No equality exists between City permits to hold gatherings on City properties, parks, sidewalks and street. City should annually allocate monies across the board, donate exact same amount to all permit holders instead of playing hop-scotch according to who you are and where the political wind is blowing from this month or week. Chamber needs to do the same. In time, Soap Lake will see a die-off, new blood will rise to take the place of the greedy goners. What has held Soap Lake back too long is right in front of their eyes, so close they miss it. A City that has built it's reputation on drinking festivities and stuffing down mounds of junky greasy food lends nothing to the HEALTH SPA atmosphere that Soap Lake claims to be. GOT IT ALL BACKWARDS & THAT IS WHY SOAP LAKE REAMINS A DESERTED BACKWATER PIN-POINT ON THE BIG MAP. Blake's lava pomo is more of the same absurd. If anyone believes that lava lamp snow job, they are dumber than dumb and need their head examined.

Noisy smelly bikes, overweight beer gussling hogs, captured audience shared between Don's and Del Red. Nothing healthy about any of it.

THE SOAP LAKE LAVA LOVE RUN WAS A SMATTERING. DRINK & DRIVE, DRINK & DRIVE AND MORE OF THE SAME. NOTHING TO OFFER THE VISTORS BUT UNWELCOME SIGNS AND PLENTY OF BOOZE ON A HOT DAY. SOAP LAKE'S THEME SHOULD BE A GIANT BEER KEG.

The signs read NO ALCOHOL in the park and beach. HA! Police officers walked right past bikers drinking beer in the open.

YOU GOT THAT RIGHT CHARLIE. DRINKING IN THE PUBLIC PARK HAS ALWAYS BEEN OVERLOOKED. THE KIND OF SHUT-EYE BREEDS DEATH ON THE HIWAYS, SOME MOTHER'S CHILD DIES DAILY DUE TO DRUNK DRIVERS. AT THE BLUES FESTIVAL IN MID STREET SOAP LAKE, PEOPLE OVER-DRANK ALL DAY, WOBBLED TO THEIR AUTOS AND WEAVED AWAY. WHAT IS HAPPENING? DO WE HAVE NO PROTECTION AGAINST DRUNK DRIVING? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BREATHALIZER? AAA NEEDS TO ESTABLISH A COUPLE MORE CHAPTERS IN SOAP LAKE RIGHT QUICK.

I find it interesing that when the concerst are held at the Gorge, they are many arrests for drinking and drugging. Something is wrong with the picture at Soap Lake. How do they get away with ignoring what is in front of their eyes? The news stories let us in on the secrets of the Blue Wall. What about the Brown Wall?

Outdoor beer gardens should not be allowed to fence off public streets directly in front of own beer joints. Other cities would not unfairly disrupt their business district in this unusual fashion. Long standing practice in Soap Lake has been to capitalize on the drinking crowd and has brought much ill-will. There should be term limits set for Soap Lake Councilpersons who take up space to line their own pockets. The obvious is granted the blessings of the City. The rest can figure they have no say.
