The lavalamp team says 300 to 500 million people have read about the lamp. That is a lot of people. What is going to happen when a few million show to see the lamp and no lamp is found? The lavalamp team needs to get busy fast to build the lamp before the masses show up. They say when they build it, the people will come. Their publicity has been so effective, the people have already started coming long before they built it. The people don't even find the Lamp Lighter open 'cause only non-smokers are welcome.

The "300 to 500 million readers" is a claim made by the Lava Lamp Team. Their own lavalamp website has only 76 posts on it, most from the same posters. The numbers don't jive.

For example, say there really were 500 million readers and 76 goodwill posters on lava team's .com, that's a simple mathamatical deduction. Seems logic then to assume there were 424 million CONS instead of PROS. The Cons may have been deleted.

I read the news report where Blake had said something to the effect that he wants to see it built in 3 years or----in his lifetime. That is about as wide a range answer given whenever asked about cost of project. Readers do not mean diddly squat when it comes to the issue of having no yenom; money backwards.

The GIANT LAVA LAMP POSTERS have been built. People can come and see those; looks pretty close to real, real as it can be expected to be and more like as real as it is going to get. :)
