You would think a chamber of commerce would know better than to get gung-ho over a 60's lava lamp. However, the giant lava lamp is being advertised by the the local chamber of commerce. Because of this, people keep calling and calling, thinking it is for real, already built. What is with the wording on the chamber's web? GIANT LAVA LAMP FOUND IN SOAP LAKE USA. That's not factual. It is no wonder so many people are getting turned away and turned off. The fake wording is decieving.

Building a Giant Lava Lamp is not a cherry idea. This cheesy idea will draw the leftover 60s cooties. How about a 300 foot high Giant Greasy Three Decker 50s Cheeseburger that drips with catsup, mayo and mustard? This drippy cheesy idea could become the alternate that saves the ghost town if the giant lava lamp fails to work.

The local chamber of commerce advertised a similar promotion a while back, the big spa to come on the hill was elaborate. This was another facade that had people calling the City and Chamber. The spa did not exist and never would have. Fools rush in where angels fear to tread. Supplying a drawing of a replica means nothing. There is never any substance to these hair-brain schemes that the Chamber grabs onto. DAH!
