PROJECT DOOMED FROM DAY ONE.
On FEB. 20, 2003, the Soap Lake Giant Lava Lamp entrepreneurs issued a NEW PRESS RELEASE which appeared on Google Search. The public became informed that the website of Brent Blake @ www.giantlavalamp.com, contained lava lamp images on site that were another's property; federally registered trademarks owned by Haggerty Enterprises, Inc.

This hitch comes right on the heels of the project's first setback. Blake's October 1, 2002 Wa-Cert application fell short of conforming to applicant requirement; was not filled out in regulation compliance. City of Soap Lake was shown as applicant but had no knowledge of application submitted by Blake, Giant Lava Lamp Team Mgr.

I did see the giant lava lamp posters for sale on their internet site. Don't know if you can do that. Sounds as if they are now claiming that the lava lamp images they used were not their property and trying to close the barn door after the horse got out?
