Re: HAIL TO THE ONLINE WEBSITE THAT GAVE THE GOOFBALL AWARD TO THE GIANT LAVA LAMP PROJECT. -- tess, 19:40:51 02/22/03 Sat
Want to build the largest lava lamp in the world..eh? I say go for it. Build it 18 meters high, fill it with colored gloop, and stick it smack dab in the middle of the street where cars can't miss it! That is where their colored mockup shows the lava lamp placed or rather "found" in Soap Lake, Washington. According to their picture, they deserve the Goofball Award. How could anyone miss seeing how diligent they have worked at seeking recognition and what could be better than getting an award for it.

Longtime Soap Lake resident, Beverly Hasper, had enough commen sense to make a very valid comment to the press. Hasper did not think the middle of street was an appropriate location for the giant lava lamp. Who could argue with that?

Masquers are $500,000 in debt, and Grant County Journal announces US Forest Service has all but approved a gift of $82,000 from the taxpayers. What does the US Forrest Service have in common with the Masquers?
