Few approx. tips: A norm (maybe 4 footer) Giant Lava is heated with a frosted 100 watt R20F bulb, takes 5-6 hours or more to warmup. Best operating temp. around 21oC/65oF to 23oC/720F. Experts say never operate for more than 10 hours at a time and if exposed to direct sunlight the colors will fade. Often lamp may beome cloudy, doesn't do well when shook and goo can peter out in a few years.

How on God's Green Earth is this Soap Lake Giant going to keep it's color in direct desert infra-rays? And how many watts to heat a 65 footer? How much energy will it consume a month? What will that energy bill be per month? How many hours a day will it operate? Day or night? Night and day? When it peters out then what? Having no history of lava, these Soap Lake dudes must be dreaming. Last but not least, just what is Haggerty's secret formula. Bet you got that figured out too. :-)

Despite how beautiful bananas look on the outside, bananas are all show and no action. They are seedless and sterile. Despite suggested appearances, this #25 million dollar stunt is still a banana.

Lava is used as a generic term but not under intellectual property laws. Lava World International closely monitors how publisher's print the word "lava" in connection with motion lamps. The Soap Lake giant lava lamp picture was released world-wide. Shows not much respect for property rights.

Hey man, the giant lamp is not found at Soap Lake. Pure logic doth prevail Bro. The lamp won't be funded and lamp won't get built. That lamp won't get past the POSTER stage and I call it what it is, an imposter. Precede the word farce or facade with the big F word and you got what I see Bro.
