RE: Lava Love Event. Event should have be contained in the City Park. Anyone wanting to be part of the event must setup in the park under the umbrella, fee sponsor pays to City of Soap Lake to use park. An outside the park beer garden should not be allowed to use city streets in front of their LOCAL business to capture the trade. They are not in the event arena. Other cities have FAIR RULES and use them. This was not a street fair for ALL. Most LOCALS who rode solo were limited to sidewalk space. DOES ANYONE GET THE CATCH? I IT IS A BIG OKAY TO THE CANNA CORRAL. Always been that way. WAKE UP. Let us all hope the ANNUAL HARLEY SHOW & SHINE gets their fair share of the City apple cart, the same praise and high profile recognition the City extended to the newbees rally. Nobody recalls the Harley Show & Shine getting a lot of municipal handshakes and handouts in the many years they have taken from their own pockets to cover this event year after year. The eleventh command is: City shall not act in a PREJUDICIAL manner. How predjudicial can SL City get? We are about to see.
