Subject: IGNORANCE IS NOT BLISS. RISING POWER COSTS AND WASTING POWER!

Wanting to pump valuable costly energy into a $25 million dollar lava lamp around the clock, is not a blissful idea! It is sheer ignorance to create such a monster, fatally ignoring energy conservation.

Why $25 million? How many times can the entire town of Soap Lake be re-built for? Geeeez. Can anyone construct a budget which gets to $25 million? Sounds like a cool project, but the cost sounds exorbitant. What gives? Where are the proponents hiding that they are answering no questions?

Having been in the construction business for years, I know about cost overruns. Early on these dudes declared that this dappie lamp project will level out as a 25 million dollar figure. You can add in another million by the time it is up. If it even runs at a 60ft scale will be the question. Making a small scale model will not prove a giant scale model will run. Being it is being constructed for outdoors, another stickler arises. And what if it won't run after pouring all those million into the lamp? Is there even a suitable property site available. Not yet! The simple truth is that these creators of this giant idea never really thought it through before they sought national coverage. They can not answer questions that they have no answers to. When in doubt punt. I suspect they will punt. If they haven't already, their foolish. They are way out of the ballpark. When it comes around to attempting to get awarded any state funding, the flimsy will not rate well. The 25 million dollar figure is the killer of the project.

The cost of the proposed lava lamp is sky-high. To keep the getting high theme going, the spendy object should be higher than 60 some feet. Consider how high it would look on top of a higher platform. That proposed to be high building that is now showing up to be under construction on main boulevard soap lake would be a great location. With a little ingenuity & engineering going into the giant lava lamp theme it could even eventually begin to look higher than a kiddie kite with no strings attached and.... The Lord of the Rings will be on hand to preside at the ground breaking ceremony.

You really want to know why Blake wants to raise $25 MILLION DOLLARS to build his dream lamp? Do you really think anyone can get Blake to explain to the public just how he arrived at his profuse project figure? If you ask, you can bet your bottom dollar you will get nothing more than a quick promenade in a circle or a slow walk around the clock. A feasiblty study has not been done. All this media hype is over a proposed lava lamp, based on a mere figment of imagination. Think about how much $25 MILLION DOLLARS is and what it can buy! Spending that kind of money on a glass fixture is highly irrational thinking. Irresponsible spending shuld come out of their own wallet. If they have such a great idea, they can put their own money where their mouth is.
