Giant Lava Lamp Posters are on sale at Soap Lake Senior Center. We are told a dollar goes here and a dollar goes there. Sort of a sweetheart deal. Is the tax figured in? Does Center have a resale license? Since when? How sweet is that? I am quite sure royalties are not included in their dollar here and there co-mingling effort.

Was their authorization to use city and county officials names on the giant lava lamp poster? Hard to believe.

If the local chamber of commerce along with county and city officials willing became listed as lava poster boys and girls, those weighty sponsors maybe also willing to pay for a royalty dispute if it is brought about. Bowing to the KING OF LAVA is always considered a proper gesture.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see why the giant lava lamp posters are alluding to people of title, Kenneth Lee, Fred Slough, Terry Brewer, Bill Riley and Tim Snead to name a few. Name dropping won't elevate the giant lava lamp cause. We do read past see Jane run. Snow jobs will always be snow jobs. Bad taste will always be bad taste.

The commissioner named on Brent's poster, does wear more than one hat, appoints committee that selects by priority projects in Grant County to be funded. Matter of ethics: Adding that name leads us to BLack's legal definition of the "doctrine of fairness." This perilously borders on a prejudicial issue, especially when name has been used without person's knowledge or permission and posters have been advertised and sold. Could be that nothing is scared when your hell-bent to shove your dream up everyone's derriere; whether the silent majority of the population in the community wants it or not hasn't seemed to matter much.
