Subject: A Faramir Confession, and about David Wenham
In reply to: Sue 's message, "Faramir Fanfic" on 04:34:13 03/03/03 Mon

Thanks, Sue, I had noticed there was something interesting, also because there's a David Wenham site which gives updates on such stories. I wasn't sure whether to read them but since you recommend them I'll give it a try!

BTW, let's spread the word a bit on this nice-looking guy:
http://www.cold-winds.org/faramir/indexx.html
www.david-wenham.net

I'm in doubt about reading because whenever I read something about Faramir written by others sooner or later I find a stab at Movie Faramir and get depressed... I've become thin-skinned after the AMC fiasco, I guess. I've stopped reading the boards, sounds familiar? Even though Movie Faramir is nowhere as hated as poor Eliot was, it still hurts. Fan fiction should be devoid of this, but I'm becoming so paranoid that when someone mentions a dark-haired Faramir I see it as a criticism of blond Faramir... which is absurd, but as I said I got too burned the other time!

But it all may change if my "habit" really becomes obsessive... in which case, you will all have to be ready to act as a support group for me once again! §:D
