From the moment the kid said that they were threatening to kill his little brother, my first thought was "does he even have a brother?".

It seemed odd to me that Ronnie never thought to check this kid's file or tried to find out about the actual existance of a sibling of any kind.

I just had trouble believing that an attorney wouldn't think to question the honesty of a heroine addict! Let's see: fresh tracks, comes to school loaded, breaks into her car. Oh yeah, I"m gonna believe this kid. DUH.

Ronnie got a big fat reality smack.
