Alexis,

Adrenal crisis is when you feel dizzy, nauseas, faint, low blood pressure, high sodium/potassium levels. They symptoms you described sound more like regular old withdrawals that WILL GO AWAY!!! It sounds like you weaned slowly enough this last time that you should not go into crisis, BUT if you feel dizzy, or faint and nauseas GO TO THE ER!!!!!! Have them run a rapid cortisol level and ACTH to make sure that you are not in crisis. IF you are worried anyway, you can have an AM cortisol level done through your regular doc and also have an ACTH level done just to be on the safe side. Your body will, more then likely, pick back up on its own and you won't have to worry about a thing. The symtpoms you are experiencing will get better...just give it time. Drink LOTS of fluid to ease any muscle aches you are having and some people find that lowering sodium helps them, I actually find INCREASING my sodium helps with my withdrawals, but I am quirky like that. Also, be kind to yourself!! Take a nice, deep breath and let it slowly...you will get through this! The hard part is over :)

Please feel free to email me anytime on here or privately if you want to talk/vent/anything :)

Ivy
