Dearest Lori & Ivy,

Thank you sooo much for your input and for being happy for me but I must say that once again -- ANXIETY is really bad, constantly on that "impending doom". Maybe it's just me and not withdrawals, who knows.

Do any know if prednisolone can cause cholesterol to be elevated? I know I have strong family history of high cholesterol - but suddenly my cholesterol is high, total cholesterol is (7.0mmol/L) and desirable range is 0.0 - 5.5). Triglyceride okay, HDL also okay, LDL 4.7mmol/L (0.0 - 3.40 desirable range. Chol/HDL Ratio 5.0 (desirable <4.5).

"If" it is prednisolone related - once I stop the prednisolone - is it possible for it to go back to normal? I know I should be asking this to my Dr but as you all know, I don't get answers to hardly anything.

I am still waiting for blood results on connective tissue and something else. My sugar level is okay, FBE (Full Blood Examination), showed mild lymphocytosis so have to check that again in 4 weeks. ESR is back to normal and so is my CRP - so there is no indication of infection or inflammation. Sorry once again for my long post but really feel comfortable sharing with you all as you all UNDERSTAND!

Love/hugs and prayers for all.

Tiffany
xxxxxx

P.S. Sorry once again if I have some spelling errors :)
