Hi,
I am so sorry for what you are going through. I am not a doctor but it sure sounds like you have steroid-induced cushing's. You NEED to be given an ACTH (blood test ) and a 25 hour urine test to check cortisol levels. These are simple tests but extremely important. You are lucky, yes believe it or not you are lucky! You are alive! Stopping prolonged use of steroids can kill. I understand your frustration and knowing what it was with not anyone listening. But you are extremely lucky to have survived. You can and will get better. The fatty liver was most likely from the steroid therapy (mine showed in my liver over a year after I'd stopped using a steroid cream.) Drink plenty of water (8) glasses the water keeps you hydrated and steroid withdrawal can cause muscle cramping and joint pain. The water can reduce that. Please see a specialist (like an Endo) and discuss what you are going through. You are not alone. Everyone on this board understands how you feel and what you are going through. Our prayers and healing thoughts go out to you.
Best wishes
