I am only guessing here...but I would think that caffeine could make withdrawal symptoms worse because it does cause dehydration (which withdrawal symptoms can cause too..ie muscle spasms), and caffeine is known to cause higher heart rate/palpatations as are steroid withdrawals.

I only use caffeine for migraines (and then only in the smallest amount). What kinds of things are you experiencing?
