Guess what? I wish I had done my research before -- I just found out on the internet that one of the main effects of caffeine is that it stimulates the adrenal glands to produce cortisol. So, YES, it does make steroid symptoms worse.

I have never been a coffee drinker, but last weekend I decided to have one "soy latte" (I don't know why). I found out later it's not coffee in the latte drinks, it's espresso, which has even more caffeine. Anyway, in additoin to making my main steroid problem much worse (which I don't feel like going into because it's very upsetting to me, but that's my main concern and regret here), I also had an upset stomach for days on end (very unlike me), had mood swings, anxiety, and still wake up in the middle of the night feeling very wired, even though I haven't had enough sleep. Pretty crazy.

Did you ever experience any side effects?
