Subject: Ugh! Hated this Episode

I cannot express how much I hated this episode. And not even for the reasons one might think. The kiss actually doesn't bother me that much. I think Webb's feelings are mostly one sided and I think that little kiss was mostly because she knew he might very well die. I had a problem with the rest of the episode. Harriet was driving me crazy. The Admiral seemed way meaner than usual. Hope if I ever get shot,I heal like Gunny. And the ending. Honestly. How many times can that happen to them before TPTB come up with something new. Happened in Full Engagment and they punched out of the plane in Gypsy Eyes. Just bothers me that that's the best they can do for a cliffhanger. Just so unoriginal, which is why I really think next season should be their last. I freak people out when I say that but this just reinforces my earlier thoughts that this show is running out of steam. They've recycled cliffhangers in a way.

I know. I haven't watched the tape yet but I was hoping people would be having the same reaction my daughter had to Smallville and I had to NYPD Blue. Hers was Wow! and mine was Holy Sh$! - Well if Mac is cheap, then Harm is just as cheap.....Annie, Jordan, Renee, Bobbi Latham, Kate Pike, that Maria Helena from S1, his "marriage" to Catherine Gale....I don't like the double standard that its okay for Harm to have lots of women cause he's a man, but if Mac has more than one man she's cheap cause she's a woman....that said, even though I didn't like Singer, I do *agree* that giving us the perception she was with 3 men in a week/10 day time frame was unnecessary...Inside for the rest.... -- JNTS, 10:21:09 05/23/03 Fri

  - Hi Heather, I think that some said ( you must count me among them!) that Mac was 'cheap' not because she is a woman, but because she actually SAID she was in love with Harm, how could TPTB make her say that and after make her kiss another man?Harm never said the words nor confessed anything for her so (even if we all know it)he 's not censed to have feelings for her whereas Mac does At least, that's my opinion, she is no longer 'entitled' to love/kiss/look at another man .     - Well, according to the shippers (not all mind you) Harm has confessed (even though I disagree with it) his feelings about Mac in Lifeline...so why is it okay for Harm to go around kissing & flirting with every woman alive? He's supposed to also be in love with Mac (according to those little words in Lifeline about Brumby was right about people being in love with you), but its alright cause its Harm.
