"Friendly Fire"

Oh... my... gawd... THat's all I have to say. I am totally and completely disgusted with the "Friendly Fire" episode. I am absolutely shocked that the writers of this episode would think that the Canadian viewers of this program would not be insulted. That really happened. Real Canadians died. How dare that they let the defence win that case. Even if it was a mistake, those pilots should have AT LEAST be discharged. Personally, I'm sick at the writers of this episode, I'm sick at the way that they took the characters I love (especially Harm) and made them enemies in my eyes. There are losers here, the families of the soldiers who died.

I respect your opinion, but I don't think they were minimizing the loss of life. Mistakes are made in battle. All who go to war know the risk. How is Harm the enemy for pointing out a reason why the pilot could have mistaken the generator malfunctioning as enemy fire. The defence won but the pilot is grounded.
