CASCO are virtualy the same (with a lifetime guarantee as well) and a bit cheaper (about 20%) and I've never had any trouble with them
You can get some wierd expensive carbon fibre composite ones now but they are just too light! Depends what size you want. But under 18 inches the all steel ones are still the best. If you want some monster 26+ inch thing then it may be usefull to have part of it carbon to save weight?.. Have a shop around. I'dd be interested in getting your opinion on the new models. I was playing with some spring loaded types in a shop but they are too much hassle. Just get a friction lock one for your job.

Your right about the ephadrine. I dont personaly use it anymore. I just mentioned it as its something most people would stock up on when they go to the States.

You will be after a decent stab proof vest then Darryl? Sorry I dont know too much about them. Anyone any info out of curiosity?
