Yeah they are measured in joules and 42 is supposed to be good as the police use the same ones. There are the ones they wear that look like body warmers. You can get thin ones that are white and fit under your shirt, bit pricey though £239 for 42 joules stab proof
£349 42 joules stab proof and HG1 ballistic protection ( bullet proof ).I dont know whether I would trust it though until I saw it in action,someone else getting stabbed with it on and walking away then Id buy one like that but I suppose everyone would.
