the BNP isnt just supported by racists, its led by the more "respectable" face of racism and is connected with high profile racists such as Pierce. its very origin is racist.
u cannot seperate leadership from support. for example, the labour leadership is labour and the party supporters share labour sympthies, thoughts and ideas. This is the reason why these ppl vote labour. If the BNP gain racist support, its because their policies are such which attract racists and these policies are formed by the leaders who must also have racist sympathies.

And as for the BNP's policy on immigrations. they cant be all that viable otherwise why is the party being damned as irrational and harmful? The government recognises that the immigration problem is getting out of hand and that something needs to be done. but at the same time, ppl in desperate need cant be turned away. its inhumane. and if it was so easy to solve the problem, they undoubtedly would.

however taking ruthless measures to "reclaim" could be exactly like what is happening in zibambwe at the moment and look at how much we are criticising Mugabe and the leadership there. If its wrong for them to act like so, then its wrong for us. people cant just be uprooted and passed between countries like a ping pong ball over and over again. Like the kosovans expelled from serbia, if the western countries wont accept them, where are they to go? they have no homeland and so have to settle elsewhere.

there is no quick fix solution, if there was, it would b in place by now.
