I have just finished braces for the 2nd time. Not sure what happened first time round as a child I had extractions then a removable brace then nothing, no traintracks or retainers! My teeth relapsed badly (I say relapsed, they were never finished in the first place) and have just undergone 15 months of treatment at the grand old age of 37. I had upper and lower permanent bonded retainers put in this morning at my debanding appt and I hope they will do the trick. I will let you know in a year or so!!
