I did not want the surgical option. As everything goes along I feel I am better informed, but maybe a day too late since the bands went on today (pain, but not as bad as I expected)and too late to get a second opinion and possibly other options. I am just going to focus on cooperating and wearing my appliances (all of them) and getting these things off as soon as possible. I feel a little self conscious and no one can even see the bands, so I wonder what feelings next weeks brackets will bring.
