Hi,

I had all of my "hardware" installed at once, but I only have bands on my front molars - the rear molars, on the back sides, are barely erupted out of my gums. I'm no sure what my ortho is going to do about them (three are in pretty good positions, but one is tilted way out). I think most of the cases where only uppers or lowers were put on at first, and the others several weeks / months later, is to move those teeth "out of the way" before working on the other teeth.
