My soft snack of choice is applesauce -- the "natural" kind with the only ingredients being apples, water and vitamin C. Sometimes I'll mix in plain yogurt (flavored yogurt has a lot of sugar which I don't really want coating my teeth). When I'm in the mood for something salty or need some quick protein, I'll puree some hot dogs or vienna sausage in some chicken broth.
