Hi Jamie,

1. I had to have 4 extractions done before having the braces put on. A week after the last two extractions, the orthodontist put spacers between my molars and one week after that I had the braces put on. And don't be worried about getting your tooth pulled, I had 4 done and everything was fine - don't listen to people who try to tell you it's horribel because it isn't that bad!

2. I had a down payment of $460 (Australian) and then monthly repayments of $210 for 24 months. Speak to your ortho - I'm sure they can work something out that suits you.
