I've had my braces for 15 mths. My two front top teeth used to slightly overlap. After a couple mths of treatment, they seperated and there became a gap between them. To hold the teeth together, the ortho tied a wire around them and has been doing this ever since (probably 9-10 mths now). The problem is the teeth meet at the bottom of each tooth but there has been a slight gap at the top of the teeth, near my gums. I gues because of the way the teeth are shaped, they are more rounded then square. The gap hasn't closed and I'm beginning to think it won't. Will he have to fill it in with something, or what do they do for this??? Thanks.
