i just had the brackets and archwires put in on tuesday. i was told it shouldnt be too painful since i have yet to have the molars banded. but, let me tell you... it is painful! my question is when will i be able to floss? brushing isn't even normal yet. i know it's terrible and i'm so worried that my teeth will decay but, i have such a hard time overcoming the pain! just the thought of it turns my stomach. should i just suck it up and start now or wait until the pain has gone away some?
