When I started with my braces my ortho told me that would probably need to have 4 teeth removed, but he started the process without the extractions. About 6 months in he had the teeth pulled. I am really glad that he waited, I now know what my teeth would have looked like without the extractions and they look WAY better now. (They were kinda fanned out but now they are straight up and down and look better)

Good luck with your decision, I know it is very hard to have prefectly fine teeth removed.
