What a day.
Today I had my last "baby" tooth, a lateral, pulled out (I wasn't born with the adult set). It had no root left and needed to be extracted. My dentist did this, then I had an ortho. appt. this afternoon (he was going to put my wire back in).
Well the gap left in place of my lateral baby tooth was just so large it was upsetting me. I mean if it were more towards the back I might be ok with it but right up front...awful. So my ortho made a bonded tooth to take its place, which he said he would file down as time goes on and the teeth shift over in place. The ortho. admitted that although this bonded makeshift tooth was better than nothing, it wasn't great and he was right. It is better than the gap but now I have to go see my dentist this coming week and see if he can do a better job on this.
I'm just having a bad day!
