When my father told me I would finally be able to get braces I was estatic, imagining a picture perfect, million dollar smile.
I had to have a hirach, which a metal plate that goes across the roof of the mouth and has a key that is used to turn the metal contraption, which puts a gap in the front teeth. It is a substitute for teeth extraction.
At my last visit to the orthodontist, they noticed discoloration in one of my front teeth, due to the opening and closing of the front teeth, which caused internal bleeding, and is rare. I will have to have a root canal, and get a crown after I get my braces off.
i would not reccommend the hirarch.
