Well the grass is always greener on the other side.. at least you HAVE insurance... I'm paying out of pocket for everything - I do not have benefit coverage (yet I'm the benefit system admin at work, go figure); therefore all my medical and dental is paid by little ol' me. I don't make a fortune either, so I have to make sacrafices for quite a few things - (all my diabetic supplies too) - but I finally took the plunge for the braces for health reasons more so than anything.

I still agree, that even with insurance, it's a pain in the butt that you can only have what they dictate to you. As a benefit system admin, I hear the woes of others where some items are covered while others are not. Sad the type of world we live in when the mighty dollar rules over the health and wellbeing of humans.
