I think I should just bring up a couple points.
If you are going to host your own forum I sugjest you wait until you can. Unless the akbbs forum will work with whatever forum software you intend to host you might be asking for everyone to create an account, only to create another one once you start your own forum. The only way around this is if you can transfer the records.
The other thing... alot of features are nice. But they need to be regulated. If you allow html in the sigs individuals can change the layout of the forum with some simple code run from the signature so I sugjest a caracter limit and/or just stick with vB code. Avatars and signatures CAN contain pictures. The more pictures the longer the load times are. I'm lucky enough to be on a 3mb line so I won't care, but 56k'ers beware.
That being said I think it's TONS better then the current one. Big thumbs up.
