 This may be a minority viewpoint, but I'm afraid that with different categories I wouldn't end up reading all of them (or have time to read all of them). One of the nice things about having everything lumped together is that old-timers have been around to give newbies advice. If there's a category just for newbies, I'm afraid the old-timers wouldn't read it. Just a thought...
