I have had my expander on for almost 2 weeks and I just starting to notice my two front teeth starting to separate. It is kind of freaking me out to the point I don't want to turn the screw anymore. I go to my Ortho on Thursday to talk about how many more times I need to turn the screw as well as putting on my top ceramic braces. I am hoping having the top braces put on will help close the space quicker?? I already have my bottom ones on and it is doesn't seem like much is going on down there...we'll see this whole process is pretty nerve-wrecking.

It deprnds on your turning schedule. If you are on a 2
>or 3 times per week schedule (most likely in an
>adult) then it will start to show in a few weeks or so.
