I just got braces top and bottom, and have made the adjustments, ie.. getting through the intitial soreness and inside the cheeks irritations.
Whats come up now is, the second day I got the brackets on, one of them on the top popped off, I went back in and the assistant said it probably won't stay on even if they put it on again, this particular tooth is set back a bit from the other teeth. The Dr came over and said "lets put a chain on", and move some of the other teeth around it to help get them all lined up,and bring that one a little more in line with the rest of the teeth, the assistant did and it was pretty sore for a few days. What I also noticed, and it still is present today, (5 days later) is a very significant sensitivity to cold and hot wit this tooth.
It sometimes gives me a sharp pain for no apparent reason, except maybe some cold air. Is this normal? Is it because the root might be exposed a bit???

Any info would be appreciated
Thanks,
Kat
