For me, the spacers were the worst part. I was miserable for the whole week and ate only very soft foods for the whole week. I seriously considered not getting braces because they hurt so badly. The minute I got the spacers out, I felt so relieved. Right after I got my top braces on, I ate chicken. My teeth were sore after the banding, but NOTHING like they were with the spacers. You can get through the rest of the week. Just know that this is the worst part. I feel for ya!!!
