i am 1 week into braces - i first used a palate expander for 6 months - and a twin block for 6 months. I have one elastic from the top eyetooth to the one below it on the left side - and i feel like it is resulting in my top front tooth is now banging into my bottom teeth when they close. My question is this - is it normal to have my teeth in the front banging into the ones below it? i feel like im getting worse instead of better. My friends are telling me that its normal - but im worried that things are not going well. should I be patient and not worry about this or what can i do? I would appreciate any support ANYONE can give. Thanks!
